Get picked up from your hotel at 5:00 AM by a private, air-conditioned taxi and arrive at Luxor at around 9:30 AM. Cross the Nile to visit some of the most spectacular highlights of Luxor’s fabled West Bank. Explore the three tombs of the Valley of the Kings and all other sites with a private tour guide. Opt for a visit to the Tomb of the Young Pharaoh Tutankhamon for an extra 200 Egyptian Pounds.  Explore the magic Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, and then break for lunch at around 12:00 PM. Savor a tasty meal in a local restaurant in Luxor, before visiting Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious site known anywhere in the world.  End your day with an optional tour in a traditional Felucca (oar-powered boat used on the Nile) in the afternoon, the perfect way to relax while passing by traditional rural life on the riverbank. If you finish early, there may be some time for shopping in Luxor’s vast souks, or if you prefer, some time to wander by yourself around central Luxor. Finally, at 5:30 PM, you will be picked up in your private car and transferred back to your hotel in Marsa Alam, arriving at around 9:00 PM. Should you wish to make changes to the itinerary, such as visiting Luxor Temple instead of Karnak, or spending more time in the souks, your guide will be happy to make suitable arrangements where possible.
